For thousands of years, the Aurora Borealis, or Northern lights have been steeped in mythology and folklore. Similarly our own antipodean version of this phenomenon has played a part in the rich history of our own indigenous culture. Join us in a concert of sublime choral music that reflects the kaleidoscopic beauty of the northern and southern lights and the landscapes under which they shimmer and glow. Featuring music by Ēriks Ešenvalds, Veljo Tormis, Ola Gjeilo, Björk, Alice Chance, Patrick Baker and a new work from our 2026 Composer-in-Residence Sebastian Allen.
